We built the business account we wanted when we ran a studio
Merrow started in 2019 in a converted warehouse in Columbus, Ohio, after its founders spent a year reconciling a design studio’s bank statements by hand.

Why Merrow exists
Small companies run on a handful of payments a week: payroll, rent, a few vendors, a few customers. Big banks charge them like corporations and give them tools built for consumers.
Merrow is one account for those payments. It moves money on the right rail, puts a limit on every card and hands the books a clean ledger every night. It is named after the merrow stitch, the one that keeps an edge from fraying.
We are a financial technology company, not a bank. Deposits are held at Tidewell Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, and we are audited every year so you do not have to take our word for it.
Small numbers, counted honestly, as of September 2026.
Every leader here has run payroll for a small company. It shows in what we build first.
