Summary
The short version sits in the first line of each section. The rest is the detail.
What we collect
Details you give us when you apply: business and owner names, addresses, tax IDs and identity documents, because banking law requires us to verify who we bank.
Details created as you use Merrow: transactions, payees, device and log data, and messages with support.
How we use it
To open and run your account, move your money, prevent fraud, meet our legal obligations and improve the product. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your transactions for advertising.
Who we share it with
Tidewell Bank, N.A., which holds your deposits; card networks and payment processors that move your money; identity and fraud providers; and the accounting tools you choose to connect. Each receives only what it needs.
How long we keep it
Banking records are kept for at least five years after an account closes, as the Bank Secrecy Act requires. Other data is deleted or anonymised when we no longer need it.
Your choices
You can see, correct or export your data from Settings, or ask hello@merrow.money. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, which we honour for every customer.
