Most switching horror stories come from one mistake: closing the old account before every payment has moved. Keep both open for a full billing cycle and the switch is boring, which is what you want.

Week one: open and fund

Open the new account, move one month of expenses into it and order cards for the people who spend. Do not touch payroll yet.

Week two: move what pulls money

List every autopay from the last 90 days of statements. Update payroll first, then taxes, then software subscriptions. Mark each one on the list as it moves.

The one to leave for last

Customer payments. Send your new account details with your next invoice run and keep the old account open until two cycles pass with nothing arriving there.
